Spectator at My Own Funeral

To be a spectator at one's own funeral is an exceptionally rare occurrence. Kenneth thought this ironically. It all began when, after years of marriage, he and his wife decided to spice up their sex life. They turned to a sexologist for advice, and the expert suggested an innovative method: experiencing things from each other's perspective. Thanks to an innovative technological device, the married couple swapped bodies. Initially, they found exploring intimacy in their new bodies awkward, but they soon became accustomed to it and eventually experienced levels of pleasure they had long forgotten. One day, however, his wife had a heart attack. Ironically, she had been the one to urge her husband to have a cardiac check-up, given that he was over fifty. Panicking, Kenneth called the emergency services, but unfortunately, there was nothing they could do; his beloved wife had passed away inside his body.

However, he discovered that the idea of spending the rest of his life in his wife's body did not concern him. Furthermore, Kenneth was not willing to spend the rest of his life in the role of the heartbroken  widower; instead, he desired companionship. The plan was to let some time pass, then get back into the dating scene and find a mature man—just like her/him. He needed someone with the necessary experience to satisfy the female body he now possessed forever. He felt that there was one more condition necessary: his lover had to undergo regular medical check-ups.
