Free of Restraints

Albert came from a very conservative family; it had already been decided that he would become a lawyer like his father although he had always had an artistic temperament. Her best friend Siobhan, on the other hand, had a decidedly nonconformist family; her parents were two former hippies who ran a farm. The summer before Albert's departure for college, she invited him to spend the holidays on her farm. The simple life and contact with nature was a cure for him, but he knew that in a few days it would be over and he became sad. Siobhan had noticed this, so she told him a secret; Her family had an ancient artefact that could swap people's bodies, but only if they agreed. She explained that she knew of his desire to become an artist, while she had other ambitions and would have liked to become a lawyer.

Albert realised that he had a chance to escape a life he detested. Sure, he would have had to give up his masculinity, but he knew Siobhan well enough to adapt to her life.  They decided to make the exchange the night before Albert's departure. The next morning they prepared to face their new lives, while the new Albert went home, the new Siobhan paddled around the fields thinking of all the new things that awaited her.  She felt free of restraints for the first time.She would go to art school and become a painter. Her hair swayed and her breasts bounced, so she thought about going home and getting a bra, it would be the only restraint she would endure in her life.
