Putting Things Right

Olivia couldn't believe it, her brother had the reversal rings in his hands that had been vanished almost twenty years ago. Back then she was still Jack, and thanks to these rings she helped her sister pass the college exam in her place. They had decided to put the rings in the locker, but when they went to get them, the locker had been burgled and the rings were gone. They make the decision to adapt to their new lives and move on. Now he had decided to tell her the truth. She had faked a theft because she was jealous of his life, but now she was ready to put things right. Olivia's reaction was surprising:

Well, now I understand why you were quicker than me to adapt to my role. Instead, I had to go to a therapist because mum and dad didn't understand why their daughter was so depressed. But, in the end, I made it: as a woman, I have accepted my condition. I also graduated and then got married.I know why you want to make the exchange now, you're divorcing your wife and your job sucks, while you have a husband and son who love me and a well-paid job.. You ruined my life once, you won't do it again, I am, and I will always be, Olivia, and so will you, Jack. So do me a favour and throw those rings away for real this time. Now excuse me, I have to go and prepare dinner for my family, goodbye!
