“Okay, Dad, now add another coating. Don't worry about the smudges; we'll remove them with a handkerchief.” As Patrick followed his daughter's instructions, he reflected on how his life had changed. A year ago, his wife found out that he had been cheating on her with his secretary, and she decided to get her own revenge. She cast an ancient family spell on him, transforming him into a middle-aged woman, before kicking him out of the house. He would have to learn what it means to be a woman, and perhaps she would turn him back into a man. Desperate and with nowhere else to turn, he asked his daughter if he could stay with her. Initially, living together was problematic, but things soon settled down. They developed a new relationship, no longer that of father and daughter, but rather that of two friends who support each other.
Then, one day, the unexpected happened. A man had asked Patrick out and, after thinking about it, Patrick said yes. As soon as her daughter found out, she wanted to prepare him for his date as best she could. Patrick kept repeating that he had only accepted out of curiosity, but deep down he knew that man had touched something inside him. Meanwhile, however, this female version of her father was preferred by his daughter and it was hoped by her that her mother would leave him stuck like this forever.
